Purpose of organization:
The Salute Insurance Person of the Year Society was formed in 1992 to recognize and honour our industry and the valuable role we play in society. This recognition event takes the form of gala banquet each year and is an inspiring evening which pays tribute to the dedication, commitment, and integrity of the people in our industry.
Insurance Person of the Year - You Choose!
British Columbia's general insurance community will be honouring, again this year, one very special insurance man or insurance woman at the 18th annual Salute insurance banquet in October. And we need your help! Not only are you invited to attend on that gala evening - you're also requested to nominate a worthy recipient for this prestigious 2009 award. Nominees should be residents of BC an have made a significant contribution to furthering the image of the general insurance industry in this province. They will also have made a meaningful contribution to the community in which they live and work and are considered to be successful in their respective fields of endeavour.
Rising Star Award
For the third consecutive year, we will also honour a person in the "nextgeneration" who is a Rising Star both in the insurance industry and in their community. We're seeking nominations for a BC resident with 10 years' experience in insurance whose professional and volunteer contributions and dedication to excellence have already made them a leader and a role model in our industry.
